University Meadows Village

The University Meadows Village project is located in Detroit’s Woodbridge neighborhood and is a joint development between Develop Detroit and Presbyterian Villages of Michigan (PVM). The existing 53-unit affordable senior apartment community was fully renovated in 2020. Functional green spaces, raised garden beds and solar roof panels were added to the property. A second phase is planned that will include new mixed-income, mixed use buildings.

This is an equitable development project designed to prevent displacement in a rising market and to preserve affordable senior housing in a popular neighborhood.
